Linda Larson, 74, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, following an extended illness.
Born on July 29, 1951, in Faribault, Minnesota, Linda was the daughter of George and Violet Cross (née Van Guilder). She graduated from Faribault High School and, in 1969, married Clifton Wayne Larson. Shortly after their marriage, they made Texas their home.
Linda dedicated many years to working in healthcare and found joy in spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Chasity Palomino, Kathy Enkey, and Teresa Larson; her son, Nolan Larson; her brother, Norman Cross; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Lorraine Heil and Delores Wagner; and her brothers, Gerald Cross and Charles Cross (in childhood).
Arrangements are under the care of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
