Lynda Lavone Colwell

Lynda Lavone Colwell went home to be with her Lord and loved ones who have gone before on November 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents William Hayden Colwell and Rebecca Nell Colwell and brother Leonard Colwell.

She is survived by her children, Heather Lavone Knox Evans, and Heath Lang Knox; her grandchildren, Joshua Luke Brown, Anna Mae Brown, Julie Ann Bobo, Callie Taylor Knox, and Brayden Lang Mason Knox; 2 nieces, Stephanie Schminkey and Carla Carnes.

Lynda was always a child at heart, fun-loving, and free-spirited. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Overton, Texas. She was loved by her family and friends, and will be dearly missed, Heaven gained a new Hippie.

Funeral services for Lynda Colwell will be 11:00 am, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton, with Heath Knox officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

 Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
