Con profundo amor y tristeza, la familia Vargas comunica el fallecimiento de María Magdalena Ortiz de Vargas, quien partió de este mundo el 18 de junio de 2025, a la edad de 81 años, en la ciudad de White House, Texas.
Nacida el 29 de mayo de 1944 en Madera, Chihuahua, México, fue hija de Bernardo Ortiz y Rita Núñez. María Magdalena dedicó su vida con entrega, ternura y fortaleza al hogar y a su familia, siendo una madre buena y dulce, siempre presente con su amor incondicional.
Estuvo casada con Ramón Alfonso Vargas Domínguez, con quien formó una familia sólida y llena de cariño. Fue madre de Ramón, Mercedes, Alberto e Isela Vargas, y orgullosa abuela de diez nietos y tres bisnietos. En su camino, también abrazó con amor a quienes se sumaron a su familia: Claidia, Ericka,Leslie, Mónica y Toby, quienes la recordarán con profundo agradecimiento y ternura.
Su legado de amor, paciencia y fortaleza quedará por siempre en el corazón de quienes la conocieron. Su recuerdo vivirá en las memorias compartidas, en cada gesto de generosidad y en el cariño de cada generación que ayudó a formar.

With deep love and sorrow, the Vargas family announces the passing of María Magdalena Ortiz de Vargas, who departed this world on June 18, 2025, at the age of 81, in White House, Texas.
She was born on May 29, 1944, in Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico, to parents Bernardo Ortiz and Rita Núñez. María Magdalena dedicated her life with devotion, gentleness, and strength to her home and family. She was a loving and kind mother, always present with her unconditional love.
She was married to Ramón Alfonso Vargas Domínguez, with whom she built a strong and loving family. She was the cherished mother of Ramón, Mercedes, Alberto, and Isela Vargas, a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and she lovingly embraced those who became part of the family: Claudia, Ericka, Leslie, Mónica, and Toby, who will forever remember her with gratitude and tenderness.
Her legacy of love, patience, and strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory lives on in shared stories, acts of kindness, and in the love of every generation she helped shape.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday, June 23, 2025, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
Graveside services for Maria De Vargas will be at 9:00 am, Tuesday, June 24, 2024, at Liberty Cemetery, Bradford, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
