Mary Jayne Ferrill, 83, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2022, in Troup, Texas.

Mary was born in Jacksonville, Texas to Theodore Hurley and Mary Hune Echard on July 30, 1938. She was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Franklin Ferrill, and sister Florence Collins.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Anne Jennings and husband Stephen of Arp, Dr. Laura Lynn Dacus of Arp, and Allison Lenee Wells of Arp; brother, Ted Echard and wife Martha of Arp; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
