Mary Frances Morris, 76, of Joinerville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2022, in Joinerville, Texas. She was born July 29, 1945, in West Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Samuel Tooley Clark and Vera E. White Copeland.
Funeral services for Mary Morris will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton with Brother Jimmy Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, Overton.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., day, June 29, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home.
Mary was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Overton. She loved going to church and was a God-fearing woman. She loved to cook, and fish, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her dog, Tanner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy A. Morris, daughter, Anita Deaton, brother, Raymond Copeland, and sister, Imogene Via.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Toni Morris of Big Sandy, and Kevin and Kathy Morris of New Diana; brothers, J.T. Clark of Price, and Tommy Copeland of Henderson; sister, Pat Riddle of Overton; son-in-law, Greg Deaton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Byron Harrison, Stephen Jordan Bates, Keith Via, Brad Gawlik, Tommy Copeland, John Allen Hamlet, Jr., and Chad Holley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
