Merlene (Harper) Rogers

Merlene Rogers, 93, of Henderson, passed away on September 13, 2020, in Henderson, Texas. She was born July 10, 1927 in Marlow, Oklahoma to the late George E. Harper and Mary Fern Harper.

Graveside services for Merlene Rogers will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Strong Cemetery in Henderson with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating.

Merlene was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church and was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Henderson. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Rogers and wife, Kay of New London; daughter, Trudy Burks and husband, Donnie of Henderson; sister, Becky McMichael; and 3 grandchildren, Lisa Kay Dukes, Johnathon Rogers, and Joshua Burks.
