Michael Evans Sadler, 71, of Troup, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Troup, Texas. He was born on August 7, 1952, in Smith County, Texas, to the late Finnie Gordon Sadler and Evelyn Ruth Wornick George.

Funeral services for Michael Sadler will be at 6:00 pm, Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas, with Reverend Steven Oakes officiating..

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, prior to the service.

Michael was a resident of the Troup community, and he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed listening to country and classic rock music. He was a retired correction officer for the Texas Correction Department. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his brother, Phillip Sadler of Sarasota, FL; and stepbrother, Rodger Dale George of Savannah, GA.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, brothers, Donald Gordon Sadler, Raymond Paul Sadler, and sister, Carol Sue Mayfield.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
