Myra Eudene Jenkins Williams, age 84, of Arp, Texas passed away on July 13,2024.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday July 18th,2024 at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton, Texas with a graveside service to follow at Overton City Cemetery at 11:00 am.
Myra was born in Frostproof, Florida on March 18,1940 to the late Spoman and Pat McSwain Jenkins. She graduated from Frostproof High School and completed her education at Jones Business College.
Myra was married to Harvey Price Williams on September 12,1975 and were married for 20 years. Myra worked as an insurance investigator for Equifax for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, her cats, and was an avid sports fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. Family meant everything to her and loved to make everyone laugh.
Myra is survived by sons; Kenneth Craig Rogers of Arp, Texas and Thomas E. Williams and wife Cyndi of St. Petersburg, Florida; and daughters Sonya Rogers Meador and husband John David of Overton, Texas; and Sherry Williams Garner and husband Mike of Peru, Indiana; as well as her sister Janice Jenkins Troutman of Frostproof, Florida.
Myra is also survived by her Grandchildren Kristen Rogers of Kilgore, Texas; Cassie Rogers Council of Rowlett, Texas; Courtney Rogers of Arp, Texas ; Jennifer Williams of Venus, Texas; Chris Thralls of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Julie Thralls Rubenstahl of Houston, Texas; Natasha Hall of Arlington, Texas; and Barbara Hall of Arlington, Texas; as well as 22 Great grandchildren and 7 Great Great grandchildren; and many other beloved relatives and friends.
Myra is proceeded in death by her husband Harvey Price Williams; siblings Mavis Marie Jenkins Bracken; Joel Nathaniel Jenkins; and Walter Norman Jenkins; as well as her grandchildren Thomas E. Williams II; Crystal Williams, and Alvin Hall Jr.
