Otis Bryan

Otis Mack Bryan, 95, of Overton, passed away on February 7, 2021, in Overton, Texas. He was born August 17, 1925 in Eastland, Texas to the late Robert and Elsie Bryan.

Graveside services for Otis Bryan will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in New London, Texas with Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, New London.

Otis married the love of his life, Anna Bryan in 1995 in Henderson, Texas.  He was a Mason for 75 years, a lifetime member of the VFW and a WWII Vet. He was a survivor of the New London school explosion.  He had a love for buying and trading vehicles and loved to mow yards. He took pride in his community and received Overton Citizen of the month.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Pamela Bryan, and sister, Francis Riggs.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Bryan of Overton; daughter, Debbie Bryan Salmon and husband, Gary of Lafayette, LA; brother, Robert Guy Bryan of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Samantha, and Quinn; and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New London Museum.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
