Patsy Jane (Driver) Stephenson

Patsy Jane Stephenson, 76, of Overton, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2022, at her home. She was born April 14, 1946, in Arp, Texas to the late Charlie and Wilma Driver

Funeral services for Patsy Stephenson will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Burial will follow at Mason Cemetery, Arp.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home.

Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending her time with her grandkids. She never missed a game or any functions they were in. She was so very proud of each of her grandkids. She loved fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. She was very opinionated, hardworking, and stubborn but always by your side no matter what. She believed in family and honoring commitments, she loved life no matter what it threw at her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy “Bud” Stephenson, Sr.; brothers, Archie Driver, and Robert “Butch” Driver; sister, Ruby “Peggy” Williams; son, Joe Stephenson.

She is survived by her sons Billy Ray Stephenson, Jr. of Overton; Danny Stephenson and wife Amy of Overton; daughter Vickie Roberts and husband Chris of New London; sister, Joyce Reid of Arp; 6 grandchildren, Shane Stephenson, and wife Kimy of Ft. Worth, Cory Stephenson of Overton, Cynthia Stephenson, Matthew Stephenson and wife Katie of Kilgore, Elizabeth Stephenson of Overton, and Peyton Roberts of Kilgore; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
