Paul Jason Shuttlesworth

Our dear son and brother Paul Jason Shuttlesworth, 65, of Tyler, passed away on June 24, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1958, in Tyler, Texas, to Alton Martel Shuttlesworth and Shirley Johnson Shuttlesworth. He will be remembered for his laughter, his generosity and his tender, innocent heart. He was well loved by everyone.

Funeral services for Paul Jason Shuttlesworth will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas with Reverend Preston Lindsey officiating, His body will be interred privately next to his father at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be after the Funeral service, Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Paul is survived by his mother, Shirley Shumake and husband Nick of Tyler; siblings, Mark and Trudy Shuttlesworth of Tyler, Jeff Shuttlesworth of Troup, and Jani Shuttlesworth of Arlington; nieces, Katie and Brian Birdwell, Audrey and Ben Lippert, Bentley and David Allen, and Michelle Ewing; nephews, Josh and Lauren Ewing, and Jack and Ana Shuttlesworth; Several great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Alton Martel Shuttlesworth.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
