RC Lloyd

RC Lloyd, 92, of Troup, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2020, in Tyler, Texas. He was born May 29, 1928, in Knox City, Texas to the late George Alan Lloyd and Emmie Lee Lankford Lloyd.

Graveside services for RC Lloyd will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup with Dr. Edwin Crank.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020, prior to the service at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.

RC was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a farmer and rancher, loved tending to his garden. He loved his family with all his heart. He was a deacon of the former West Duval Baptist Church of Troup.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lloyd.

He is survived by his son, Jody Lloyd and wife Mitzi of Bullard, daughters, Connie Sanford and husband David of Troup, Terry Womack and husband Duane of Troup, Gayle Johnson and husband Albert of Troup, Dana Reeder of Troup, and Jennifer Santos and husband Luciano of College Station; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
