Raymond Dean Bickerdike, 78, of Tyler, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. He was born December 1, 1945, in Troup, Texas, to the late John and Frieda Peters Bickerdike.
Graveside service for Raymond Bickerdike, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup, Texas.
Raymond worked for Tyler Pipe in Maintenance for over 42 years. He was a graduate of Troup High School. He loved making walking canes and working with leather. He was a resident of the Tyler Community. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Annie Bickerdike and brothers and sisters, Dorothy Harris, Dale Shelbon, Wilbert Bickerdike, Edna Morris, Frances Gray.
Raymond is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Bickerdike and wife Lisa of Tyler, John Bickerdike of Tyler, Jimmy Bickerdike of Tyler; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Shirley Rogers of Tyler, Gus Bickerdike and wife Carol of Tyler, Ruth Harris and husband Alvie of Colorado, Sanyia Austin and husband Teddy of Chandler; numerous other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
