Rebecca Glanton Lester

Rebecca Glanton Lester,84, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2023. 

Rebecca was born October 16, 1938, in Teague, Texas to Howard and Dorothy Wray Glanton. She worked in management for eyecare for many years. She was a devout Methodist and loved the Lord with all her heart.  Rebecca also found great joy in spending time with her family. 

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Glanton and Dorothy Shuttlesworth Glanton and brother Charles Wallace Glanton. 

Rebecca is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Glasgow and husband Jim of Troup, and Laura Lester of Chandler; sister, Dinah Hudson of Gladewater; brother, Michael Glanton of Little Elm; grandchildren, Crystal Strickland, Trinity Glasgow, great-grandchildren, Rebecca Anderson and Laurence Singleton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
