Rebecca Martin Smith

Rebecca Smith, 77, of New London, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2022, in New London, Texas. She was born, September 6, 1944, in Sharp, Louisiana to the late A.B. and Agnes Martin.

Graveside services for Rebecca Smith will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Sister Shirley Hankins officiating.

Rebecca was a member of Lighthouse Gospel in Laird Hill.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Minden Hall Smith, Jr., and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Booker.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Ann Smith of Greenwood, Louisiana, and Cynthia Dalene Smith of New London.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
