Reverend Charles Hayden Paschall

Reverend Charles Paschall, 74, of Overton, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on October 11, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 3:05 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Overton, with Noey Brown officiating.

Reverend Paschall was born in Corsicana, Texas to Thomas Hayden Paschall and Luvenia Bunch Paschall on March 22, 1948. He was the pastor at First Baptist Church of Overton for over 20 years. He loved his church family and his community. He enjoyed telling others about his Lord and Savior, and watching his grandchildren, Alex and Broody play sports and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He loved living in the small town of Overton, where he and Gwen raised their 3 children. He loved his family with all of his heart.

Reverend Paschall is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Hayden Paschall and Luvenia Bunch Paschall.

Reverend Paschall is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gwen Paschall of Overton; daughters, Kalei Paschall Anderson and husband Gary of Maryland; Jennifer Paschall Brown and husband Noey of Overton; son, Chip Paschall of Overton; grandchildren, Alex Brown, Brody Brown, Ashlyn Anderson and husband Eric Mirfield, Jacob Anderson and wife Shelby, and Heather Anderson; great-grandchild, Parker Dean Anderson; Numerous other family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
