Obituary

Robert Morphis, 83, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on May 22, 2022, in Troup, Texas.

Funeral services will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, with Pastor Chris Wilkins officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, prior to the service.

Robert was born in Tyler, Texas to Homer James and Christine Bradley Morphis, on May 9, 1939. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He worked as an Auditor for Medicare for the State of Texas. He loved his family with all of his heart. He was a member of Clearview Church of Troup, and he loved music.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Son Morphis, Jack Morphis and sister, Barbara Jo Morphis Fortunato.

Robert is survived by his children, Bobby Morphis wife Sandra of Troup, and Lynn Wagner and husband David of Troup; and numerous relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
