Ronald Hugh Starks

Ronald Hugh Starks, 78, passed away on August 14, 2025 in Tyler, Texas. He was born December 11, 1946, in Ashdown, Arkansas, to the late Maurice Hugh and Wanda Jean Cox Starks.

Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked as Pipefitter Foreman for Brown & Root for Eastman in Longview for 46 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Vietnam veteran. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Starks.

Ronald is survived by his wife Jill Davis Starks of Tyler; children, Rhonda Starks of Tyler. Ramsey Starks of Bullard, and Lindsey Wall of Tyler; grandchildren, Jose Starks, Jaylin Starks, Conner Wall, Cooper Wall, Keely Sinquefield, Darby starks and Clair Starks; sisters, Marla Rhodes of Mixon, Sharon Clark of New Summerfield, and Roger Starks of Tyler; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ronald Starks will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup with Reverend Sherman Mayfield officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, August 18, 2025, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
