Ron Bruce, 75, of Whitehouse, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Whitehouse, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1948, in Warsaw, Indiana, to the late Robert David and Miriam Irvine Bruce.
Funeral service for Ron Bruce will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene, with Reverends David Baker and Lynn Bruce officiating.
Ron was a resident of the Whitehouse community, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired from Paragon as an Orthopedic Metal Finisher. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Troup and was a member of the Warsaw Wesleyan Church in Indiana, he was also a member of the Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene in Tennessee. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife Susan Bruce of Whitehouse; son, Aaron Bruce and wife Rona of Lexington, VA; daughter, Andraea Hunter and husband Matt of Bullard; sisters, Donna Shoemaker of Gallatin, TN, Leona Greene of Gallatin, TN; brother, Lynn Bruce and wife Cheryl of Zeeland, MI; grandchildren, Judah Bruce, Makenna Sanders and Dalton, Gabrielle Hunter, Seth Fauber and Lauren, Aaron Fauber and Chelsia; great-grandchildren, Blakely Sanders, Sadie Kate Fauber, and Hudson Fauber.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Kurt Shoemaker.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
