Ruby Lee Kee, 100, of Troup, Texas, passed away on June 12, 2025, in Troup, Texas. She was born on April 5, 1925 in Troup, Texas to the late Joe Wiley and Maud Baty Hamilton.
Funeral services for Ruby Kee will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene, Troup, Texas. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
Ruby was a faithful member of Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene for 92 years. She was a lifetime resident of Troup/Concord community. She loved playing/winning 42 and other games. She had a keen sense of humor and was a talented seamstress. She left a legacy of love for all who knew her and will be truly missed.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ira Neely Kee, and 10 siblings.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Janet Kee Obar-Price and husband Nathan of Troup, June Kee Coleman and husband Carl of Troup; sisters, Lillie Mahaffey of Henderson, Betty Martin of Troup; brother, Junior Hamilton and wife Ann of Troup; 3 grandchildren, Nicole Williams and husband Michael, Amanda Hughes and husband Josh, Leslie Coleman Eden and husband Michael; 7 great-grandchildren, Jacob Hughes, Caitlin Hughes, Tyler Yordy, David Eden, Samantha Eden, Joshua Williams and Morgan Elizabeth Avalos; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Kara Joy Williams and Gabriel Avalos. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Paul Hamilton, Tom Osteen, Scott Saddler, Roger Hamilton, Bill Clem, and Mike Kee.
