Sharon Inez Vaught, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, went to be with the Lord in her sleep peacefully April 18, 2026. Born with a tender heart and a spark all her own. Sharon lived a life marked by deep faith, fierce loyalty, and a personality that could light up any room.
She loved the Lord with all her heart, and she lived her faith in the way she shared Jesus’ word with others-steadfast, genuine, and full of grace. If you received a silver box with a hug and kiss inside you knew you were special to her. But anyone who knew Sharon also knew she carried a bit of stubbornness and a feisty streak that made her unforgettable. She could make you laugh when you needed it most, speak her mind without hesitation, and stand her ground with a strength that was uniquely hers.
Sharon cherished her family deeply and poured love into every relationship she held dear. Whether she was offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or giving one of her signature no-nonsense looks, she did it with a spirit that was honest, bold, and full of heart.
She leaves behind a sister who adored her, family who will miss her dearly, and a legacy of faith, humor, and resilience that will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
Though she has stepped into her eternal home, her laughter, her stubborn sweetness, and unwavering love will remain with us always.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Cindy Vaught Turner; grandchildren, Dawn Nicole Moudy, Steven Scott funk, and Brian Scott Funk; great-grandchildren, Jacob Edward Miller, Caleb James Moudy, Nathan Cole Moudy, Isabella Grace Funk, Tanner Scott funk, Dyllen Aurelia Funk, Mylo Andres Funk; great-great-grandson, trip Edward Miller; her daughter, Karol Willie; grandchild, April Michelle Dennis; and great-great-grandchildren, Mason Burke, Abigail Hurt, and TJ Burke; sister, Betty Ann May; numerous other relatives and friends.
