Suzanne (Johnston) Coats

Suzanne Coats, 71, of Concord, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2021, in Concord, Texas. She was born September 28, 1949, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Milton and Lila Mae Martin Johnston.

Graveside services for Suzanne Coats will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Concord Cemetery, Concord with Reverend David Kurtz officiating.

She was a homemaker, she loved reading magazines, listening to gospel music, red roses, and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved her family with all her heart.  She was a member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Johnston, and brother-in-law, Tim Coats.

She is survived by her husband, Lannie Coats of Concord; daughter, Lanna Tapp and husband David of Mabank; son, Steven Coats of Concord; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Coats, Nada Coats, and Mary Daugherty; brother-in-law, Bill Coats; 2 grandchildren, Krista Tapp and Ashley Tapp both of Mabank; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
