Sylvia Annette Rainer, 84, of Whitehouse, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2021, in Whitehouse, Texas. She was born August 7.1937, in Elmo, Texas to the late Woodrow W. and Mildred B. Cauthen Neal.
Funeral services for Sylvia Rainer will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Burial will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery, Whitehouse.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, prior to the service.
Sylvia was retired from Whitehouse ISD as a Teacher’s aide and bus driver. She was a member East Texas Gem and Mineral Organization. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitehouse.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee C. Rainer, sister, Angie Dozier, and stepson, Dean L. Rainer.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna M. Boney and husband Danny of Tyler; son, Phillip E. Rainer and fiancé Janis Smith of Whitehouse; brother, Bodie Neal of Pensacola, FL; sister, Katrina Britton of Mineola; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Boney, Trisha Boney, DeAnna Alexander, Michael Rainer, and Tony Rainer; great-grandchildren, Nathan Austin, Jade Boney, and Corbin Boney.
Pallbearers will be Danny Boney, Joshua Boney, Nathan Austin, Corbin Boney, Scott Zedlitz, and Richard Davis.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Masks are required for everyone that attends the funeral.
