Tammy Lynn Patterson

Tammy Lynn Patterson, 65, of Arp, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2025, at Rose Trail Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tyler, Texas. She was born on June 7, 1960, at Overton Memorial Hospital to Wayne and Mary Lou Luff Patterson of Arp.

Funeral services for Tammy Patterson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Bar None Cowboy Church, with Danny Menges, Jason Taylor, and Joe Cox officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.

Tammy worked throughout her life in various roles, including at EDS in Dallas, Wise Elementary School in Chapel Hill, and both Wal-Mart and CVS in Henderson, Texas.

She had a passion for collecting clown figurines and Indian dream catchers, and a special love for dragonflies. Tammy also found joy in caring for her beloved cats. She will be remembered for her unique spirit, kind heart, and love for the simple things in life that brought her joy.

Tammy was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Luff Laska; brothers, Larry Patterson and wife Karlista, and Jay Laska; sisters, Tracy Patterson (Donna Blaylock), Michelle Laska, and Susan Hill.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Patterson.

Interment will be private, in accordance with the family’s wishes.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton, Texas.
