Teddy Ray Davis, 73, of Overton, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2022, in Kilgore, Texas. He was born January 28, 1949, in Overton, Texas to the late Hubert and Teresa Davis.

Graveside services for Teddy Davis will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Overton City Cemetery, with brother-in-law Kevin Roper officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Teddy was a self-employed truck driver in the trucking industry. He loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Violet Davis, son, Charles Ray Davis, and grandson, Krystopher Jordan Davis.

He is survived by his children Tony Davis and wife, Kelly of DeBerry, Texas, and John Davis of Lufkin, Texas; siblings, Buster Davis and wife, Iris, Jesse Davis and wife, Karen, Robert Davis, James Davis and wife, Millie, and Tina Roper and husband, Kevin; grandkids, Ryan Davis, Rylie Davis, Randa Davis, Colby Davis and Misty Dawn Perkins, Taylor Davis and Maranda Warner, Sarah Davis and Taylor Nations, Jacob Davis and wife, Hannah, Kasey Davis and Nick Poppenhusen, Kendall Davis, and Kash Davis; great-grandchildren, Beaux Davis, Haegen Davis, Johnny Davis, Josiah Davis, Katie Davis, and Carter Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
