Thelma Maurine (Moose) Bain

Thelma Maurine Bain, 92, of Ft. Worth, passed away on May 17, 2020, in Ft. Worth, Texas (formally of Whitehouse). She was born March 26, 1928, in Cherokee County, Texas to the late Troy Washington Moose and Maurine Acre Moose.

Funeral services for Thelma Bain will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, with Calvin Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.

Thelma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitehouse.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Murt Bain, sons, Jimmy Bain, Tommy Bain, Richard Bain, and daughters, Carolyn Bain, and Betty Hicks.

She is survived by her daughter, Vonniceil Bain of Ft. Worth; son, Roger Bain, and wife Jackie of Commerce; 3 grandchildren, David Hicks III, Kelly Dykes and husband Jessie, and Tommy Bain and wife Kristen; numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bain, Austin Bain, Roger Bain, Jessie Dykes, and David Hicks, III.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
