Thomas Franklin Cubine

Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Cubine, 79, of New London, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2022, in New London, Texas. He was born August 5, 1943, in Kilgore, Texas to the late JL Cubine and Frances Edna Fears Cubine.

Funeral services for Tommy will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton, with Reverends Kirk Elmore and Eric Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Overton City Cemetery, Overton.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, prior to the service.

Tommy was a retired mechanic from the oil field. He loved playing golf, fishing, his church, and his family. He enjoyed helping others. He was a member of Truth Tabernacle Church in Overton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Charles, Donald, Gerald, Joe, and Judy.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Cubine of New London; children, Robert Cubine and wife Angel of Longview, Toby Cubine and wife Donna of White Oak, and Kenneth Cubine and wife Yolanda of Mansfield; grandchildren, Victoria Cubine, Kylee Cubine, Kelsey Cubine, Courtney Cubine, Emeleigh Cubine, and Lyndsey Cubine; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
