Thomas W. Jordan

Thomas Walter Jordan, 84, of Laird Hill, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021, in Palestine, Texas. He was born January 25, 1937, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Clarence O’Neil and Clara Modisette Jordan.

Funeral services for Thomas Jordan will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton with Reverend Curtis Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, New London.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Thomas enjoyed being outdoors and spending time by the water. He loved his family with all of his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Walter O’Neil Jordan, and siblings, Jim Jordan, Kenneth Jordan, Steve Jordan, Bobbie (Argielee) Hamlet, Nola Parnell.

He is survived by his children, Linda Marie Colbert of Pittsburg, Cynthia Ann Jordan of Mt. Pleasant, Tina Staples of Chapel Hill, Toni Morris (Billy) of Big Sandy, Traci Malone (John) of Overton, Selina Novak of Chapel Hill, Thomas Jordan II (Ronda) of Kentucky, Sammi Jordan of Henderson, Timothy Jordan of Kilgore, Sha Leila Vestal of New London; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Kimbley of Kilgore, Wayne Jordan (Janis) of Kilgore, Barbara (Margie) Burns of New London, Roy Jordan (Ellen) of Henderson, and Sharon Johnson of Kilgore.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
