Timothy "Tim" Edward Martin

Timothy “Tim” Edward Martin, 84, of Concord, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on December 11, 1939, in Concord, Texas to the late Jim Dave and Lora Mae Musslewhite Martin.

Funeral service for Tim Martin will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene, Troup, Texas with Reverends David Baker and Steven Oakes officiating. Burial will follow at Concord, Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 5, 2024, prior to the service.

Tim was a lifetime resident of the Concord community, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a retired Superintendent for Eastman in Longview, loved to collect arrow heads, birddog training, hunting and fishing, especially turkey hunting. He was a member of Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his wife Betty Martin of Troup, TX; children, Tunya Waggoner and husband Michael of Troup, TX, Todd Martin of Troup, TX; 2 brothers, Clois Martin and wife Peggy of Troup, Anthony Martin and wife Susan of San Angelo, TX; sister, Toni Burd and husband Lloyd of Henderson, TX; 5 grandchildren, Brooke Hale and husband Jon Michael, Chase Waggoner and wife Tiffany, Chance Waggoner and wife Britni, Shelby White and husband Ryan, Hunter Martin; 13 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Garrett, Rylee, Haley, Lane, Taylor, Luke, Colt, Malli, Weston, Everly, Paisli, and Jax..

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings and their spouses, Jim Martin and Wanda, Don Martin and Mary, Peggy Hohmann and James.
