Travis C. Thompson, 85, of Troup Texas, went to be with the Lord, on February 15, 2022, in Troup, Texas.
Travis was born in Jacksonville, Texas to Charlie and Pauline Stone Thompson on November 12, 1936. He was a veteran in the United States Army. He was a member of the Troup Assembly of God Church.
Travis is preceded in death by his parents and son Shawn Thompson.
Travis is survived by his wife, Lavada Thompson of Troup; 4 daughters, Lesli Richardson and husband Larry of Longview, Phylann Horan of Marshall, Lori Peek of Troup; son, Carl Everett and wife Krista of Troup; 4 sisters, Frances Samuel of Troup, Sue Dulberg of Tyler, Nell Millen of Troup, Vernita Ogden of Troup, and Sug Sherwood of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
