Vicki Elaine (Smires) Helsel

Vicki Elaine Helsel, 64, of New London, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2021, in Longview, Texas. She was born September 2, 1957, in Overton, Texas to the late Cecil and Berta Smires.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Services will be Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton with Tater Mazander officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Vicki was a very successful businesswoman who owned her own business in the gaming industry. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing poker and bingo.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Helsel, Sr.; daughter, Melissa Helsel; brothers, Jerry Smires and Larry Smires; sister-in-law, Marsha Smires

She is survived by her children, Bo Helsel of New London, and Jacob Helsel of New London; sisters-in-law, Shirley Smires of New London and Barbara Smires of Henderson. Numersous other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
