Vito Barruzza

Vito Barruzza, 84, of Henderson, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on October 10, 2022, in Jacksonville, Texas.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Martin'sChapel Church of the Nazarene, with Reverend David Baker officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Martin's Chapel Church of the Nazarene, prior to the service.

Vito was born in Sicily, Italy to Salvador Barruzza and Antonina Messina Barruzza on March 6, 1938. He worked as a Chef and Barber. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

Vito is preceded in death by his parents.

Vito is survived by his wife Judy Gris of Henderson; children, Kathi Barruzza Butler and husband Mark of Gilmer, William Barruzza of Tucson, AZ, Joseph Vito Barruzza of Tucson, AZ, and Cyndi Barruzza of Gilmer; brother, Tony Antonino Barruzza of Illinois; 4 grandchildren, John Rogers, Jr., Rebecca Barruzza-Robinson, Matthew Barruzza, and Bradley Barruzza; 1 great-grandchild, Taylor Rogers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
