William Charles Carlile, a devoted husband, hardworking business owner, and lifelong racing enthusiast, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Troup, Texas, to William Harmon Carlile and Marion Elizabeth Ward Carlile.
William shared a long and loving marriage with his late wife, Joyce Ann Mason Carlile. Together, they built a life rooted in family, faith, and hard work. For over 35 years, the couple owned and operated his mechanic shop, where William became known throughout the community for his honesty, skill, and dedication. Whether it was a simple tune-up or a complex engine rebuild, he took pride in every job, treating each customer like family.
William is survived by his two sons, Billy Don Carlile and wife Tricia, and Christopher Charles Carlile and wife Liz, along with his five cherished grandchildren, each of whom brought lasting happiness and deep fulfillment to his life.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and the legacy of grit, love, and passion he leaves behind. Though he is reunited with his beloved Joyce, his memory will live on in the lives he touched and the engines he brought to life.
