Willie Earlene Higginbotham, 77 of Overton Texas went to be with her Lord on 11/29/22 surrounded by her family.
Funeral services for Earlene Higginbotham, (Meme) will be at Cottle- Pearson Funeral Home in Overton, Texas on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2 pm. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 5- 7 pm.
Meme loved her Lord passionately. She was a beautiful soul who loved life, family, and friends. She was a loving wife, mom, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved painting, shopping with her baby girl, dining out, planting flowers, listening to the bible, and reading a good book. She never met a stranger. She loved people and socializing. She was cherished by her husband and family. She was married for 61 years to the love of her life. She loved sitting on the back porch listening to gospel music or chatting with company. Her greatest love -grandson, Tristan, visited her daily.
She is survived by her husband Billy Harold Higginbotham of Arp, her three sons, Bill Higginbotham and wife, Wanda of Palestine, Harold Lee Higginbotham and wife, Amanda of Comanche, Tommy Higginbotham, and wife, Sokun of Overton, a brother, Joseph Thomas “JT ” Sullivan of New London, four grandchildren: Jaime Aleman and her husband, Sean of Abilene Texas, Trevor Higginbotham of Abilene, Shelbi Higginbotham and fiancé Andrew Reister of Tyler, and Tristian Higginbotham “Angel” of Arp. Two great-grandchildren Carter Aleman and Scottie Aleman of Abilene. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Niece Brenda Iffland (baby girl) and husband Steve Iffland.
She is preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Willie Mae (Rogers) Sullivan, brother Curtis Sullivan, sister Margie Inman.
Pallbearers include Trevor Higginbotham, Sean Aleman, Clayton Higginbotham, Michael Sullivan, Andrew “Andy” Reister, Paul Bynum.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Iffland and David Hardy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton Texas.
After the Burial, everyone is welcome to go eat at the Family's home.
